About the Role

You will be responsible for assisting with the management of the firm’s Human Resources department functions including recruitment, training and development, performance management, onboarding, policy development and employee relations.

As a key member of HR team, you will:

• Provide support for the recruitment process including but not limited to internal consultation regarding advertisements, scheduling of interviews, coordination of offer proposals and contracts, as well as reference collection and coordinating background checks.
• Manage and organise all orientation and onboarding for new employees.
• Assist with the management of training and development.
• Responsibility for the administration, preparation, collation and submission of immigration documentation and applications.
• Assist with the management of the firm’s performance management process and related reporting..
• Assist with policy and procedures development.
• Provide support for all employee relation matters.
• Perform other Human Resources duties as required.

This position requires: strong written and oral communication skills, the ability to exercise good judgment in recognizing scope of authority and protecting confidentiality, a high level of interpersonal skills and integrity, and being a solid team player, with the ability to meet tight deadlines, work on their own initiative, having high attention to detail, and being highly organized.. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.

Benefits include:

• Competitive Salary: US$100,000 to US$138,000 per annum, commensurate with the qualifications and experience.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a related field.

  • 3-5 years’ experience in human resources management and administration including 3 years in the financial services industry.

  • Knowledge of the Cayman Islands Labour, Immigration, Pension and Health Insurance Laws.

  • Experience with HRIS system would be an asset.
