The applicant will assist with the training of staff ensuring that they are kept up to date with changes to relevant risk management and regulatory guidance applicable at a local and international level. Specific duties include: • Assist in the review of client acceptance forms and files as prepared by the client service teams to ensure compliance with the firm’s anti-money laundering policies and procedures • Conduct KYC/CDD checks and sanctions screening on clients at all stages of the client management cycle • Maintaining certain internal reporting registers and logs • Provide support to staff queries arising on the firm’s risk management and compliance framework • Assist the Senior Risk & Compliance Manager in maintenance of the firm’s risk and compliance documentation (mainly policies and procedures) • Assist the Senior Risk & Compliance Manager with the production of periodic risk and compliance reports/ dashboards for Senior Management and the Board • Assisting the risk and compliance team in performing risk assurance monitoring and testing (such as conducting detailed testing on internal controls and processes) • Assisting the firm’s Senior Risk & Compliance Manager in the fulfillment of their responsibilities as required. This position within the firm requires good written and oral communication skills, the ability to meet frequent tight deadlines and a willingness to work overtime when required.
